Aspecks endured a turbulent beginning to 2010 but are delighted to have been able to launch our first promotional endeavour in the form of the Global Citizen Campaign. This campaign will provides an opportunity for a young person to go to Ghana for one month and work for the international NGO Global Mamas. The Aspecks Affiliate network kicked into overdrive in a major way during the year, increasing the productivity of Aspecks commercial printing services and helping to construct positive working relationships with other organisations. The Aspecks website has already seen one upgrade this and year and version 3.0 is currently in development.
Indeed, 2010 has seen some nice link ups with other online innovators such as Ctrl.Alt.Shift and I AM LDN Magazine. We have also been lucky enough to continue our interview series meeting with artists such as Richy Pitch and M.anifest who shared their global experiences with Aspecks. This relationship resulted in Aspecks printing t-shirts for Richy’s album launch and filming some of the pre-release gigs in London, featuring performances from Mensa. We have also have been developing t-shirts for Mensa and the launch of his new album No.1 Mango Street whilst continuing to work on some fresh new designs for the new Aspecks Autumn line.
