Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope you do not mind that I have sent this letter to other powerful bureaucrats and politicians. I am not sure who will be best equipped to deal with my request. I am writing because a I want a new passport. At the moment my passport says I am a citizen of ___________ but I want it changed.

Whenever I go through airports and travel across ‘borders’, people ask me for a visa. They ask; how long do you intend to stay? Are you aware that you are not permitted to work here? What brings you here? Who are you staying with or coming to see? Do you have enough money? All the questions in the world.  I’m really tired of it.  I am writing to request that my passport is changed to show that I am a citizen of the Federation of All Countries on Earth (F.A.C.E).

Thank you very much. I have attached four passport size photos and photocopies of my passport pages.  I am ready to courier my actual passport to you as soon as I receive confirmation from you that the new one is being prepared. I would be much less inconvenienced if you could send the new passport to the return address of this letter when it is ready.
